Essential Oils to Have You Kicking Butt Emotionally!

If you have been following along with me on Instagram or Facebook, you probably know how passionate I am about essential oils. I've even told a room full of 200 women to sit in a corner and whiff their Easy Air bottle (#Whack).

Here's the proof:

When was the last time you really thought about your emotions? Aside from the - gosh I'm tired today, or, I'm feeling ok today.

Was it today? Was it within the last month? The last 6 months?

When I started using essential oils, I felt different. I didn't know why, but I did. So I did some research about the emotional benefits of essential oils and its association with our limbic system.

During that process, I asked myself the above question, and I didn't know the answer. I couldn't remember the last time I'd tried to connect with my emotions.

Fast forward over a year and it is now part of my daily routine.

When I wake up in the morning and use my Peppermint, it's because I've noted that I feel a bit disinterested, a bit bored, a bit tired.

When I apply Lavender and Spearmint to my body after a shower with some unscented moisturiser - it's because I'm not communicating how I feel.

When I apply Ylang Ylang and Bergamot to my body at night time - it's because I need to be more accepting of myself and tap into that inner playfulness and spontaneity.

When I choose Citrus Bliss, Passion and Lemon for the diffuser, it's because I'm not feeling creative and there's something blocking me.

You see? It's everywhere.

I'm listening to my body and to my emotions to tell me what I need.

Here are my Top 5 Blends to help you do the same in your life, and start kicking butt emotionally!

Final thoughts...

I encourage you to start implementing small changes into your life which invite a review of how you are feeling.

Maybe it's just smelling your Easy Air straight from the bottle, or adding a few drops of Wild Orange to your shower in the morning. It could be making a blend to help you with confidence or communication, or a blend of oils that you can apply to your skin.

Whatever it is, just start with the one. Make it easy. Make it habitual. Then move onto something else :)

If you know someone who puts everyone else before themselves, please share this blog post with them - everyone deserves some time to re-connect with themselves and their emotions...
